JACK is very well known at the clinics, as he is owned by Becky our Vet Nurse, and often comes to work with her, sitting quietly in a kennel all day as he is a very calm good boy.
This week, however, he got a bit of a shock, as his usual day snoozing away in the kennel, took an unexpected change as he was put under anaesthetic to clean his teeth and remove a few sore ones.
This photo shows him recovering in our hospital, kept warm by blankets and with Mothercare newborn baby socks on his feet, which we use regularly to prevent animals losing heat from their extremities on recovery.
This isn’t the easiest time to be socialising your puppy but if you do the 7 things listed above you will have made the best out of the current situation
The health, safety and wellbeing of our patients, our staff and our community is our priority
We are no longer using plastic bags at the clinics, but have moved to paper bags
